What is a shipping container?

A shipping container is a large steel box used to ship goods throughout the United States and to export and import merchandise overseas.


Are your containers for sale or rent?

Both. We have containers for sale throughout the United States. We rent containers from our HQ location near Kirksville, MO (northeast Missouri). This includes offsite rental, where we bring a unit to your location, and onsite mini-storage.


What sizes of containers do you have?

The most common sizes are 20’ and 40’ units. Please reference "For Sale" or "For Rent" pages for external and internal dimensions and ratings.


What are the sale prices of the containers?

Containers are traded daily throughout the world. Sale prices are subject to supply and demand. They fluctuate based on location, availability, time of year and condition of units. Prices can change daily. Please call us for a quote.


Where can you supply containers?

We can assist you in the sale of containers anywhere in the United States. We have access to all depots located in major cities. We can also assist you with off-site rentals of containers or on-site mini-storage rentals from our HQ office in Northeast Missouri.


Can you provide containers abroad?

Yes, but we are not freight forwarders.


What are the containers made of?

The containers are made of corrugated 14 gauge corten steel. They have treated wood floors with steel cross members every 12” underneath.


What is the life expectancy of a container?

A container should last approximately 30 to 40 years depending on environment.


Do you sell new or used containers?

We sell both new and good used containers.


How much do containers weigh?

20' Standard - 4500 lbs, 40' Standard - 8500 lbs, and 40' high cube - 9000 lbs.


How much weight can a unit hold?

Any unit can hold approximately 67,000 lbs internally in any 10’ length.


What can the containers be used for?

What are the space restrictions where a container can be delivered?

There are many variables. Call for details.


What kind of surface preparation is needed to set a container?

Our customers have used several things, but a bed of rock seems to work the best for a very economical price.


Can containers one has rented then be purchased?

Yes, however, we are not a rent to own company; therefore rent would not go toward purchase price.


Do you move loaded containers?

No.
